Agnomen 1 was the third release on the Obsolete Units label way back in 2006. Back then, Warm Climate was still a duo, with founder Seth Kasselman accompanied by Rune Freeman. Unlike the strange psych-pop that Warm Climate has become known for in the past few years (see their three acclaimed cassettes released on the now-defunct Stunned label), Agnomen 1 finds the project operating in a much more avant-improvisational platform, a sound that ends up channeling Jackie-O Motherfucker jamming some free-jazz freakouts. A personal favorite of mine. Since this has been long out-of-print, Seth and I have decided to offer this for you folks as a free download. Hope you enjoy!
